Why We Have This Policy

Children are more susceptible to heat-related illnesses and the effects of poor air quality than adults. To help protect campers and staff, Monarch Camps follows guidance from the National Weather Service, Environmental Protection Agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and local air quality agencies when determining activity modifications during periods of extreme heat or reduced air quality.
