REFUNDS, WITHDRAWALS & CHANGES FOR DAY CAMP

**UPDATE – Illness Policy

With the recent health events we have made changes to our Absent Credit to a Possible Illness Credit and Illness Credit to encourage families to keep ill children and possible ill children home and to prevent spread of any illness.

We no longer give a $25 credit for absences and will be giving a Possible Illness Credit.

  • Possible illness Credit is a full single day’s credit for missing a single day of camp due to illness or possible illness.
    • Credit is limited to three times each summer, two times during winter, and once per each single day camp, one day for the week Thanksgiving and one day for the week of Spring Break).
  • When your child is possible ill or ill please email, info@monarchcamps.com with your child’s symptoms of your child and we will give the Possible illness Credit.
  • If a camper is sent home from camp there NO Credit issued. Please keep possible ill children at home. If campers are showing any signs of coughing, running nose or a temperature 100 or more, they will be isolated and we contacted for immediate pick up.
    • Children need to be to fever free for 24 hours before returning to camp.
    • Camper will not be allowed to come back the following day after being sent home and this will be the first day as a ‘Possible Illness Credit’.
  • If a camper is absent for two consecutive days or more there will be no credit given without a Doctor’s note. With a Doctor’s note we will issue full credit for all days missed as an Illness Credit.
    • Illness Credit will not count as one of the three times max “Possible Illness Credit” each summer.

All refunds back to family are subject to a 6% fee from total amount. Refund credit can be kept on Household Account for use on future Monarch Camps programs without any fees.


1. Full credit back to Household Account if a cancellation is made 10 full business days* prior to the start of the week registered. If a cancellation is made within 3-10 business days of the week registered, the deposit of $20 per day is lost and the remainder of the balance will be credited back to Household Account. All cancellation requests must be emailed to info@monarchcamps.com. DEPOSITS FOR GYMNASTICS CAMP ARE LOST FOR ALL CANCELLATIONS REGARDLESS OF NOTICE. WE HAVE TOO MANY FAMILIES HOLDING SPACES FOR THE SUMMER AND THEN CANCELLING, WHICH IS KEEPING OTHER FAMILIES FROM REGISTERING.

3. There is a $5.00 transfer fee charged for switching** from one camp option to another. (E.g. Soccer camp to Classic Day camp)


*Business days refer to Monday thru Friday. Weekends and holidays do not count as business days.


**Transfers are considered moving the same number of days in a specific week to another camp option in the same week. SWITCHING FROM A FIVE DAY WEEK TO A THREE OR FOUR DAY WEEK IS CONSIDERED A CANCELLATION and will be subject to our cancellation policy. If you wish to cancel a five-day week and register for a three or four day week, you must email info@monarchcamps.com. If cancellation occurs within 3-10 business days of the week registered, there is a loss of the $20 deposit for each day cancelling. Less than three business days’ notice prior the cancellation date yields a $25 credit applicable exclusively to future Monarch Camps programs.

Registration and Refund Policies**All refunds back to a credit card are subject to a 6% credit card transaction fee from the total amount refunded. Alternatively, refund credits may be left on your Household Account for use on future registrations without incurring a credit card transaction fee.**

  • Registration for each trip closes a 5 business before the trip. To register for a trip late there is a $25 late registration fee and subject to availability. Please email info@monarchcamps.com

1. Full credit for cancellation up to 15 business days* prior to the start of the trip registered. If cancellation is within 5-15 business days of the trip registered, the deposit is lost and the remainder of the balance will be credited. All cancellation requests must be emailed to info@monarchcamps.com. DEPOSITS FOR GYMNASTICS CAMP ARE LOST FOR ALL CANCELLATIONS REGARDLESS OF NOTICE. 2. If cancellation happens within FIVE business days or fewer prior to the start of the trip registered, for any reason, there is NO REFUND.
