My twin children, age 6, participated in this camp for the first time.
At first I was a bit worried, how they would do. But they loved it from their very first day.
I found that the whole spirit at Monarchs Camp is very positive. You can tell that all the counsellors love their jobs. They seem fun, friendly, easy to approach and really caring for our little ones.

The program offered was a lot of fun, and quite diverse. Swimming, arts and crafts, soccer, field trip..

I will definately enroll my kids for next summer!

This is our second year at Monarch and my kids love it. The counselors are great and they keep the activities fresh and exciting for my boys.  There aren't many after school programs that offer swimming and rock climbing.  Thanks Monarch!

This was our first summer trying the Monarch Aquatics Camp on a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad we did! My daughter is a self described "fish" and loves being in the water all day. The counselors remind the children when to put sunscreen on, which was a big concern of mine since my daughter is super fair skinned. There is a high dive for the adventurous kids and the other campers come over for a swim later in the day so they'll get to see friends/siblings in the other camps if they have them. Also, the price cannot be beat!!! My only complaint would be that the aquatics camp does not get to go on any of the field trips (but that may be a pro to some parents!)

My kids have gone to several camps in the valley over the years and we found the perfect place to settle down. We join the excursions program last year and the very first day I kids went to Disneyland together and from then it was a nonstop schedule activities overnight camping trips on their field and a summer of fun fun fun. Take the time to come tour this camp you won't be disappointed.

My 11 yr old son has attended for 5 summers and we love it in every way!  The counsellors are exceptional and remember him each year.  It's safe, fun and the new facilities are 5-star!  We tried another more expensive camp this year and the kids and countries were sub par compared to Monarch!  The best.

We have had our daughter in this camp for two summers in a row and she is also enrolled at the after-school camp for the second year. The counselors area great, the after-school pick-up is great. I have never had to wonder whether there were any issues as they feed me weekly emails and give me updates I don't ask for.

It has been a few years here and I have to say agin… this is real day camp with people who care and kids getting to have great experiences. My kids love the staff and the only complaint I have is that some of the kids are brats (raised by nannies the rest of the year and then sent to camp in the summer), but this is unavoidable.

The staff and supervisors, especially of the specialty camps, are so knowledgable and laid back. This place provides a wonderful experience without all the bells, whistles, and high prices of some of the fancy camps. You will love this place and the people involved.

We were so happy to have discovered Monarch. My 7 year old has gone there for the past two years. This past summer she tried all the different specialty camps and had a blast at each one. As a working parent, this camp is perfect. It is fun, affordable, the counselors are great and it is easy (especially the free extended hours). This year I noticed a great improvement in technology communication and organization so it is an even bigger bonus. Hint: Gymnastics camp fills up fast so register early.

    Pros:
For your money your child gets to be in a specialized camp like gymnastics, Spanish immersion, soccer, or other category. They also get to swim every day in the afternoon, most camps charge for swimming lessons and here it's included. The camp also has weekly field trips to various places the kids like. The vibe is very cool when you drop off your kid the music's playing in the background and everybody seems to be enjoying themselves. The coaches are really good about putting their belongings into their backpacks, I've been to other camps where my son every day would lose a personal item.

    Cons:
I've been to pricier camps and it's always the same thing, kids watching kids with little adult supervision which is pretty annoying because kids do not think the same way as adults. For example my son had to go to the bathroom, he asked the coaches the coaches did not take him and he had an accident. Had it been an adult they would have took him to the bathroom. My son complained about the sports camp because he was a beginner and some of the kids were advanced in the sport so they did not like that he was lagging behind.
Another aspect I did not like is Communication, you can call the camp directly but reaching someone is difficult, nobody ever answers the phone the best form of communication is via email. So in case of an emergency you might not be able to reach anybody immediately. Also they bring out the kids to the field around 330 in the afternoon so even if it's 100° weather outside they have to stay under the tarps till they get picked up.

What's good is a very large and secured by a tall fence LA Valley College archery field, Olympic size outdoor swimming pool and a theater where kids get to perform on stage in front of a live audience once a week. My daughter was at Monarch summer camp in theater and in Glee club. As someone who loves to perform, she was excited to learn new songs and theater play, and looked forward to being on stage. What didn't work was that during the first week my daughter was bullied by older campers in her program who teased he due to missing front teeth and made her feel unwelcome to the point where she didn't want to go on the field trip. However, after I reported this to the camp administration, they put me in touch with the camp psychological counselor who was very responsive and supportive. All three bullies were spoken to and were not bothering my daughter after that. At the end of week 2 my daughter got to know staff well, made friends with campers and really wanted to come back. Unfortunately, this camp is more pricey than our local day camp at a community center. That was a deterrent. But if we had a bigger budget, I would definitely bring her back to one of the performing arts camps.

My oldest son has been going to summer camp since he was 5. He’s done soccer, gymnastics, aquatics, and the regular classic day camp. He’s also enjoyed the overnight sleep overs. All excellent programs.
This year he is super excited as he will not only be old enough to go on the big trips, Monarch eXcursions, but his little brother will be a 1st time camper.
The staff is responsible and friendly. It being in the LAVC campgrounds is a plus as the kiddos get to enjoy an Olympic size pool and the cool new community center with a state-of- the-art gymnastics, rock wall climbing, you name it.
    A fun summer indeed!
    We highly recommend it!

Our 5 year old attended a few weeks of summer camp last year and loved it. That’s when we found out about the after school program they were starting. We signed him up for that right away and he recently told us that he doesn’t ever want to switch to a school where he couldn’t go to Monarch. He also just had a blast at their winter camp.

This is such a wonderful program and the staff is really incredible. We know our child is well taken care of and safe which is most important to us.

We would recommend this camp to absolutely everyone!

There's no words to describe how much I love this camp, and how happy my daughter is there. I'm that crazy worrying mom and all the counselors are amazing and sweet and responsible and I've seen my daughter grow and conquer her fears in a large part because of this camp. The kids get a "real camp" experience without having to spend $$$$ a day. My daughter said she wants to go to monarch until she becomes a counselor herself and I support that choice! From our first meeting with the leaders at Monarch Camp, we could tell that these were adults who view their campers with respect and caring. Logistics and safety during pick up from school are serious, followed regularly, and spelled out for parents.
There are enough activities and choices to allow for many different interests and abilities.
Jason is friendly, professional, calm, and patient.
One thing I would change is the hour long homework time; I feel it's too long, and as more elementary schools move toward following the research of less homework, this amount of time is probably 1/4 to a 1/2 too long.
    And the swimming! That's great!

This past summer was my daughters first time attending day camp. Being that it was her first time I was nervous, anxious. My husband told me about the Monarch Camp, I knew Monarch was just what we were looking for after leaving the orientation . The drop off and pick up is really easy and convenient, the junior counselors greet you in the morning, play with the children . I love that they pair the children by their age and gender. My daughter would come home raving about what a wonderful day she had, raving about the counselors and the junior counselors . She enjoyed field trip days, specially beach day, and made  a lot of new friends . On the last day of camp she cried , that's how much she loved it . I would drive off knowing that she was in good hands . I can say she had a great summer. They don't provide warm lunches, you have to pack their lunch which has to be cold lunches so you have be creative. Thank you to the Monarch Camp staff for a great Summer. See you guys soon 🙂

She has Special Needs and is accompanied by a 1:1 aide funded by Regional Center for her safety, but she is fully included in everything. She absolutely loves camp – the different activities, the field trips, and the people there. The counselors are fun and caring. She always comes home exhausted in a good way! My son has come to this camp in the summer and winter now for 2 full years.  It is one of our favorite summer camps.  The swimming, which I was worried about, has been the best thing ever.  He has gotten stronger and better each summer and more confident.  It can be a bit overwhelming at first because this is a big camp but after he gets past the jitters he thrives here.

I think the administration often gets overlooked so I wanted to review my experience working with Jason (specifically). I registered my boys late for summer camp and wasn't able to get my youngest son into the Classic camp due to space. We tried Gymnastics and Soccer and eventually was able to get into Classic (where all of his best friends were). I called the office weekly and for some reason – Jason was always on the other end! Guess I was just lucky.

He was curious, helpful and accommodating. He was always patient – even when I called and fussed over not getting what I wanted (this was their busiest year and there was no room for his age group, no matter how many times I pleaded). He always did his best and it showed.

Thanks to Monarch and to Jason for a great summer! We'll be back next year (at the beginning of registration!)

They really spend time getting to know the kids and make sure they have a lot of fun. Our son is always excited to start a new camp session to see old friends and counselors, as well as, meet new ones. The filed trips and overnights are also hugely fun for him – he looks forward to them so much. They also have a junior counselor program where kids can learn to become counselor when they are older. Our son cannot wait to apply to become a junior counselor.

He went 3 days for winter break and literally hasn't stopped talking about it. We have now enrolled him in the after school program and he's so excited to start.

The counselors are really great and enthusiastic. The kids don't play with ipads and phones all day. As a matter of fact, they ask that you don't bring them! They did different fun activities and crafts and got lots of playtime in.

This camp is fun for my child and has improved a lot in the past few years. This will be our third year! It’s close to home, safe and has lots of activities and choices for specialty camps! Love the free swim and swim camp! Not many camps have swimming, so for us, that’s a bonus for a hot summer day. Also love the popcicles for sale at pick-up!

My child has been attending Monarch Camp's after school program for the past six weeks and I've been incredibly impressed with the program. He is picked up after school and brought to the facility on the campus of Los Angeles Valley College. The counselors are professional and enthusiastic. He gets help with home work and plenty of playtime, both structured and unstructured. They swim twice a week and that has really been the highlight for my son. Another great perk is that they offer full day programs on many days that LAUSD is closed. There's so much to do and he always has a great time.

Monarch is the best! My 5-year old started their after school camp on the first day of TK and it’s been a great experience. Jason is always waiting for her right outside of class and they are driven in new, safe vans to the LAVC campus where a fun afternoon always awaits! They go swimming, do gymnastics, crafts, the rock wall, play outside, catch bugs, learn to cook…the list of fun goes on and on (plus they have homework time!) She loved the all day camp over winter break also and we are excited for spring and summer. Staff is excellent and communication is easy and quick. Highly recommend!

My older son has been going to Monarch since kindergarten.  I moved here from the east coast and was nervous about finding a camp he'd like, especially since everything was so new.  We both fell in love!  There is a ton of variety and I love the swimming twice a day.  The counselors are very fun and always lively.  And field trips are always a blast.  I really believe this camp helped my son become more independent.  As a side note: I love that they always have options during winter/spring, days off, etc. and early drop off to accommodate working parents.

Honestly though I don't like that they are outside in the heat as much as they are, it's a huge camp with so many kids and no one knew my son's name, they walked all over campus and according to my son didn't do much and it's pricier than other camps I like better.

My 8 yo son went to four weeks of Monarch Summer Camp this year and he had a great time.  It was well-organized.  The counselors were good.  There were no activities he didn't like.  He did Aquatics, Basketball, and Soccer camps (no field trips).  They played the sports in the morning and did other fun activities in the afternoon.  His favorite was the diving in Aquatics camp.  As a parent, I liked that the security at pick-up was better than other camps.  One day my son hit his head and the camp EMT was with him right away, called me, and handled it very professionally.  We needed early pick-up twice a week and they were helpful with that and did not charge us for it.  A bonus was the swim lessons in Aquatics.  In two weeks we saw a big improvement in his swimming ability and he learned the flip turns.

We were a little nervous about trying this camp as it can seem overwhelming with all the kids but our daughter loved it. She went for 4 weeks of regular camp plus one week at the gymnastics specialty camp and she had a blast. The staff, care and security of the kids are top notch, drop off and pick up are very efficient and the field trips and activities are all wonderful. Her only complaint would be the lunch program is less than inspiring (soggy sandwiches). The best perk of the regular camp is the twice daily swimming (morning lesson plus afternoon free swim). Because of the lessons and reinforcement she received at Monarch, our daughter’s swim skills skyrocketed over the course of 4 weeks, enabling her to have a great time at other pools and beach trips throughout the summer. The pool and gymnastics facilities as well as the instruction are all first class. She will definitely be going back next summer and she’s excited to try out their other specialty camps.

Love the camp and the energy of the team. There is such a varied menu and the kids get to try new sports and activities. Also, my daughter loves the cook-out day!! I have only a couple of suggestions, though. Please have some shade sails placed over the pool!! The Aquatic kids are in the sun 6-7 hours and no amount of Zinca keeps them from frying!! Same with the beach day, please have a shade canopy that kids can use for15 minute sun breaks!! Lastly, many people work “over the hill” and have to get an earlier start than 7:30. Can I suggest considering an earlier start????? Otherwise, hope to see you in June!!!

I attended Monarch myself back in the summer of '92 – one of the best summers of my childhood. So i tearfully sent my own son off to camp this summer… and its a hit again.  He is officially a pro swimmer thanks to the daily lessons included and begs me to drop him early and stay late every.single.day!

My only constructive criticisms would be to have more organized play especially for the younger kids after the official camp day closes at 4:15pm as they can find it hard to keep up in the gaga pit. Also, some of the camp counsilors are AWESOME and but some could use a little more coaching on how to speak to parents so we feel assured ( im looking at you teenage boys 😉 ).

MASSIVE shout out to the camp office who are so awesome at responding to questions promptly.

Brilliant! This was our first year doing summer camp – my son is six – and this was a really great, fun experience for him, and from our perspective very consistent and reliable.

Today is his last day of camp and on the way there this morning he said , "Daddy, next summer can we come to this camp again". Can't really get a better endorsement than that.

Lots of outdoors, some variety with the different types of camps he did over the weeks and a weekly field trip that he enjoyed – especially the one's to Zuma beach, guess you can't really go wrong with that!

All in all really good. We had plenty of uncertainty about how this would be, his first one and all that, but it was great and he really had a good time 🙂

My 6 year old daughter attended Monarch Day Camp this past summer (2015) for the first time.  We had heard many great things about the camp from neighbors and friends, but our expectations were exceeded by this amazing group of counselors and staff.  I felt that my daughters safety and happiness were their top priority.  My daughter became a very good swimmer over the summer and is now confident in our pool, swimming with older kids and in the deep end.  She learned to dive and swim across the pool on her own!  Amazing!  Monarch always had fun field trips planned, BBQs and theater type shows that my husband and I could come watch her perform at.  Most importantly, my daughter loved Monarch and all of the counselors (they even made cupcakes for her and her class on her b-day, which was a heartwarming personal touch I didn't expect)!  We will return to Monarch every summer for years to come.  I highly recommend this affordable, yet action packed camp.  Thank you Monarch!!!

We first heard about this camp from our neighbor so we signed up to the summer camp this year, which my 8 year old daughter LOVED IT!  The camp is full of activity and you won't believe how many counselor and junior counselor they have to ensure everything is running smoothly.
We were really bummed that summer is over and she's no longer with some of the friends she met at the camp.
Then we found out about their after school program, which is even better!
Monarch bus comes to many neighborhood school to pick up kids so you don't even have to pick up my daughter and drop her off before going back to school.  They also have dedicated academic counselors who oversee the homework and correct them on a daily basis.
Program director is very nice and flexible whenever we had to change the sign up schedule, which is very important for us.
This is by far the best camp/after school program we tried in the past few years.

Because of the lessons and reinforcement she received at Monarch, our daughter's swim skills skyrocketed over the course of 4 weeks, enabling her to have a great time at other pools and beach trips throughout the summer. The pool and gymnastics facilities as well as the instruction are all first class. She will definitely be going back next summer and she's excited to try out their other specialty camps.

My 2 kids went here summer 2015 and recently during Winter Break 2015.  The counselors are fantastic.  Everyone of them knew my kids by name by the end of 1 week and this is a big camp with lots of counselors.  They're always super friendly and helpful whenever I drop off or pick up the kids.  And here's a great little story:  my 7 year old was on a field trip with the camp when they got stuck in a long line to use the restroom.  She wasn't able to hold it and had an accident before getting to the toilet.  One of the counselors quietly purchased her some new shorts from the gift shop with his own money so my kid could quickly change and not feel embarrassed.  Compassionate 100%!!  My wife and I truly love this camp and my kids are very comfortable here and always have a great time.

    Great value. Great hours.

I sent my six year ago of here last summer at the recommendation of friends.  My only regret is not enrolling sooner as the gymnastics camps fills up first.

She loved being with her counsellors and from what I can tell, enjoyed every day that she went.  She also went on a trip to the beach, which she loved as it was her first field trip to the beach with me. At first, I was concerned for her safety, but after speaking to her counselor and director, I was more tha assured she would be safe. And she was and she had the best time.

The hours are wonderful as this is a long camp. But it does tend to get hot in the valley every year and this could be a downside , but then all camps in the valley during the summer are hot right?

Drop off and pickup was so easy.

This year we tried out Monarch summer camp at Los Angeles Valley College campus. It is run by college students and very well organized. The camp grounds include a very large archery field where kids do sports and play games, a huge outdoor swimming pool, air conditioned assembly rooms for each camp specialty (Art, Glee Club, Math, etc) and a theater where kids get to perform on stage in front of a live audience. My daughter really loved Theater and Glee Club camps and enjoyed performing with her new friends. What didn’t work the first week was the fact that my 6-yr-old was bullied by the older campers due to her missing front teeth. Name calling and hair pulling made her feel unwelcome to a point where she refused to go on the field trip. We brought this matter to the attention of the staff, the bullies were spoken to and transferred to a different group, and they did not bother my little girl for the rest of her sessions. I definitely recommend this camp for the quality of activities they offer, good organization and nice facilities.

Most camps we tried seemed to be chaotic and unorganized. Monarch is organized with staff who come back year after year. I love the specialty camp options and the wonderful food menu to choose from.

MONARCH CAMPS! Have been the most positive, fun and developmental experience for my child. She’s now 13 and plans to complete the C.I.T. in Winter camp and wants to be a junior counselor. That says everything right there.
I love the vision of this program, along with the director Paul, and his amazing team. If your looking for a local day camp, come on aboard. Laughs, fun and great memories. My husband and I still sing old camp songs to Sophie that she learned when she was little. It’s a ball. T. Bodis

My son has been attending camp here for the last couple of years. He is always so excited to go to camp. He comes home exhausted from all the fun activities. His favorite parts are swimming twice a day and playing gaga. He has also made quite a few new friends who he looks forward to seeing every time he returns to camp. There are also some really great counselors especially Jason who is super friendly and always available to help with anything you need.

We are very pleased with Monarch Camps. We came across Monarch while researching camps in the valley after receiving a recommendation from a friend. I took a tour last summer and was sold! The camp is safe and well-organized and orchestrated. All staff members and volunteers are super welcoming, caring, and helpful. They use new, state-of-the-art gyms, equipment, and rooms (rock wall, gymnastics gym, etc.) Traditional day camps and specific sports camps are offered. In the summer, children learn to swim twice a day and are lead and closely supervised by skilled, nurturing staff. Children are grouped according to their ages. Our daughter was very happy attending Monarch! She enjoyed the time she spent there making new friends, singing camp songs, doing fun activities, and learning from her counselors. We are definitely returning, and cannot wait for our son to join too. They will have so much there together!

We love Monarch Camp! My daughter (6) attended all summer and really got a lot out of it.  The camp's been around a long time, so they've got it all down pat. The counselors are all well-trained, young, friendly and energetic. They all seemed to know my daughter's name. The complimentary before- and after-care was important to me as a working parent, because so many of the other camps I looked at didn't accommodate my working schedule (Out at 3:00? GMAB). Monarch is a little more expensive than the camps that don't have a pool, but the pool was so important to us. And they make it affordable with a very easy and convenient payment plan.

The administration is great at communication and responds promptly to emails, listens to feedback and tries to resolve any issues that may occur. They were very helpful with accommodating a couple of early pickups we had to do at the last minute.

The weekly field trips were amazing!  All the great kids places that I don't have time to take her to. Now I don't have to, because she got to go with Camp!  I also really like that at pickup the children were all having fun enjoying largely unsupervised free play. Not every moment of their day needs to be micromanaged! Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of counselors around keeping an eye on things. But nobody was telling the kids what to do and how to play during the aftercare portion of the day. I never had trouble finding my child at pickup (except for the one time she was in the bathroom). They are all in clearly-marked tents with their age groups.  Like I said, they've got this down to a science.

We chose to do the classic day camp instead of a specialty camp because we wanted her to have a well-rounded experience where she got to try a lot of different things. The fact that they swim twice a day (class/practice in the morning and then a "free swim" in the afternoon) was important to me because I really wanted my daughter to become a strong, confident swimmer and she DID. Next year, though, she wants to do Tumbling camp.  She'll still get to do the free swim in the afternoon, so she'll get the best of both worlds. I'm so happy and relieved that she can go to Monarch Camp all summer and have a blast while being safe and looked after by loving professionals.

My daughter has been going here since she started kindergarten last year and she absolutely loves it. She’s a sensitive kid, but the counselors are great with her and always work hard to make her feel comfortable. Geoff (the man in charge) always works hard with the logistics and financial services, too, which makes me feel comfortable because I like money. It’s a high quality after school and summer camp that deserves high quality high-fives.

Our daughter has been going here since Kindergarten (she's in 2nd grade now). I credit Monarch with helping her be comfortable with sports. She was more timid initially, but after the first summer, she was willing to play any sport! And, she did rock climbing. She's tried a different camp every summer so that is great for her, too. I researched 10 or more camps and we do attend zoo camp on occasion on got game for single day camp, but Monarch is superior for long term camp. They have fantastic facilities (particularly if you want to compare them to LA camps) and great counselors.

They have been around for a long time, and their safety record is excellent. I will be sending my son there this summer. I will say that early morning drop off could be improved for young 'uns that are shy. My son is shy and young so he sticks to me. The counselors aren't great at distracting him like his teachers are. This was at holiday camp. I'm hoping that at summer camp, he'll get used to it.

The vans they get picked up in are new and safe and the staff is always waiting for them right outside the classroom. My daughter loves it. When it was warm, they would go swimming a couple times a week, they use the rock climbing wall, do gymnastics, crafts, crab soccer, cooking…really just tons of fun activities to keep them engaged and active. They also do an hour of homework time! We just finished Winter Camp at Monarch and also loved that – they went ice skating, brought snow in to play one day, and had a fun noon years eve party (with 2017 balloons!)

We love it and can't wait for thanksgiving camp to roll around in Nov!

This was my 11-year-old daughter's first time at Monarch Summer Camp. She was in the Musical Theater specialty camp for two weeks and absolutely loved it! The highlight was being able to see her in a show with her fellow performers on a Friday afternoon. She made many new friends and loved the counselors. The program is top notch and the camp is run very professionally. I always felt that the children were very safe in a community college campus and well cared-for. We anticipate coming back every summer. I

My boys always have a fantastic experience at Monarch Camps! The counselors are so attentive and motivated, and they make every day a GREAT DAY for my kids! The field trips are also a lot of fun! The boys are always thrilled to attend and disappointed when they can’t go. We’re big fans!

My kids and I really enjoyed the camp.  My boys learned to swim and played sports.  The consulars are mostly college and high school students with a lot of energy. An overall positive experience.

We love Monarch Camp! My daughter (6) attended all summer and really got a lot out of it. The camp’s been around a long time, so they’ve got it all down pat. The counselors are all well-trained, young, friendly and energetic. They all seemed to know my daughter’s name. The complimentary before- and after-care was important to me as a working parent, because so many of the other camps I looked at didn’t accommodate my working schedule (Out at 3:00? GMAB). Monarch is a little more expensive than the camps that don’t have a pool, but the pool was so important to us.

All the great kids places that I don’t have time to take her to. Now I don’t have to, because she got to go with Camp! I also really like that at pickup the children were all having fun enjoying largely unsupervised free play. Not every moment of their day needs to be micromanaged! Don’t get me wrong, there were plenty of counselors around keeping an eye on things. But nobody was telling the kids what to do and how to play during the aftercare portion of the day. I never had trouble finding my child at pickup (except for the one time she was in the bathroom). They are all in clearly-marked tents with their age groups. Like I said, they’ve got this down to a science.

We chose to do the classic day camp instead of a specialty camp because we wanted her to have a well-rounded experience where she got to try a lot of different things. The fact that they swim twice a day (class/practice in the morning and then a “free swim” in the afternoon) was important to me because I really wanted my daughter to become a strong, confident swimmer and she DID. Next year, though, she wants to do Tumbling camp. She’ll still get to do the free swim in the afternoon, so she’ll get the best of both worlds. I’m so happy and relieved that she can go to Monarch Camp all summer and have a blast while being safe and looked after by loving professionals.

We absolutely LOVE Monarch summer camp!  I am super picky when it comes to summer camps and spent a lot of time researching.  One of the biggest criteria I have is STRUCTURE.  Most camps we tried seemed to be chaotic and unorganized.  Monarch is organized with staff who come back year after year.  I love the specialty camp options and the wonderful food menu to choose from.  From the climbing wall, to the Rec time to their gymnastics room.  Their facility is top notch!  AND the icing on the cake is swimming daily! We will definitely be returning this summer!

This will be year three for my 10 year old daughter!  She loves the specialty camps and all the choices, and especially loves singing the camp songs. Monarch has stepped it up in terms of organization and communication, which makes for a better experience all around.  Drop-Offs and Pick-Ups are easy and they have popcicles for purchase as you're on your way out the door, which comes in handy for a tired, hot and thirsty kid.

My 5yr old attended the Classic Monarch Day Camp this summer. We were both very nervous about it. The counselors handled it very well, they always greeted her by name and would let her help with a task or play with her right away because dropoff was difficult for her. By the end of the second week she was confidently running into the gym. I liked the online registration and payment options. Hours of pickup and dropoff are great for parents working an 8-6 job. We look forward to coming back next summer.

My Kindergartner has been asking to go to Monarch summer camp for the last year and a half.  We finally signed up for winter camp and she had the best time!  I loved that she came home singing the "old school" camp songs that I remembered learning as a kid.   She cant wait to to go back for summer camp.   How many more sleeps till summer camp, Mommy?

My son enjoyed the last two weeks of camp here – particularly learning to play GaGa, swimming everyday, the field trips, being with friends and the fact that they sell popsicles as your leaving. Honestly though I don't like that they are outside in the heat as much as they are, it's a huge camp with so many kids and no one knew my son's name, they walked all over campus and according to my son didn't do much and it's pricier than other camps I like better. Glad we gave it a go – but not sure if we will be returning.

My review goes for the Family Camping Program they offer, I've been attending this camping program since 2012, this will be my fifth  year camping with them and my family.
I dont have enough words to describe the amazing things they offer. They have great stuff in charge, very responsible and always ready to help you and others. The activities they include are fantastic, you, your family and your kids will never be bored to go camping with these amazing team. The food is incredible and well balance, prices are reasonable and the places they will take you will take your breath away. You will be surrounded in nature and beauty with a great team that will lead you all the way.
This became in 2012 as a adventure and it became a family tradition for us.
Thanks to Gary Honjio, his amazing kids Justin and Brandon that after four years of camping with them finally I am able to recognize who is who. Christian Guzman, Hector, Patty and everybody is amazing.
Great team!!!! Thanks You guy for all the memories you create in my life and the life of my two little girls.
