Monarch Camps provides campers with a fun and enriching environment where growth is a natural outcome of participation. The sports and activities we offer facilitate the development of cooperation, creativity, motor skills and sportsmanship among campers. Camp traditions and inclusion are tools that we use to cultivate a family environment. We strive to be a positive influence on a camper’s growth from childhood through their teen and adult years.
Being a leading day camp in Los Angeles, California since 1971 has allowed us to perfect the art of delivering a kid-friendly and parent-approved experience across all of our services. Operating on LA City College campus of 35 acres, our facility includes an aquatics complex, two indoor gymnasiums, a soccer field, a running track, tennis courts, recreation rooms for exciting science lessons and experiments, a performing arts area, and THE BEST COUNSELORS EVER!
Classic Day Camp: Our longest running and most popular camp option where campers participate in Theatre games, arts & crafts, fun activities and play a variety of sports (such as, basketball, tennis, soccer and more). In this camp option, we really focus on building a strong sense of camp tradition and community through singing, dancing, dress-up, weekly field trips, and themed special event days.
