Monarch Camps is located and partners with Los Angeles Valley College!
A 24-hour, on-campus Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Substation, and Los Angeles Fire Department station directly across the street on Burbank Boulevard, maintain the safe environment of our campus at all times. No camp has a safer, more complete physical facility than Monarch Camps. All of our regular activities are held on our campus creating minimal transition time between activities.
Spring Break Day Camp
- Registration Opens: February 1st, 2026
- Camper: Ages 5-13 years old
- Volunteer Junior Counselor: Ages 14-17 years old
- Adult Counselor: Ages 18+ years old
- Dates: LAUSD Spring Break Friday, March 27th – Friday April 3rd, 2026
- Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm can add extended care 3:30pm-6:30 for $25.
- Dates: PASSOVER Monday April 4th – 9th
If you and your kids are looking for fun things to do on their week off from School, sign up for Monarch Spring Camp! Five full days of fun-filled delight from 7:30 in the morning until as late as 6:30! Everyone will go on a field trips and the rest of days are on-site activities planned (swim, rockwall, sports, etc), culminating in our Egg-themed Scavenger Hunt! All groups are age separated (sometimes 2 grades together) and gender mixed.

Summer Break Day Camp

- Hours: 8:45am – 4:30pm
- Extended care available from 7:30am-8:45am and 4:30pm-5:30pm at no charge.
- Power hour for snack and activities till 6:30 for $50 for the week.
- Kindergarten has a half day camp option for picking up by 1:00PM. Lunch and swim lessons included.

Classic Day Camp:
Our Classic Day Camp is our longest-running and most beloved camp option, offering a perfect balance of creativity, sports, and adventure—along with plenty of swimming fun! Campers dive into the day with a variety of activities, including theatre games, arts & crafts, and exciting sports like basketball, tennis, soccer, and more. Whether it’s perfecting their serve or scoring the game-winning goal, kids get to explore a range of sports while developing teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship.
An essential part of our summer fun is swimming! We believe swimming is a must-have for every summer, and our campers love taking a dip in the pool to cool off, have fun, and build water safety skills. Whether it’s a fun pool game or just splashing around with friends, swimming is an activity that makes every summer day even better.
What really sets Classic Day Camp apart is our emphasis on camp traditions and community. From singing and dancing to dress-up and themed special event days, we create an atmosphere where kids can freely express themselves and make lasting memories. Weekly field trips offer even more adventure and exploration, giving campers the chance to discover new places and experiences.
Through all these activities, campers build lasting friendships and a strong sense of belonging, making Classic Day Camp the perfect way to spend the summer. It’s about fun, friendship, and unforgettable experiences—and swimming is just the cherry on top!

- Dates: All School Year Long
- Hours: School End Time – 6:30pm
- Ratio: 6:1 student to staff ratio for academic time, homework assistance, and homework completion check/correction.
- Schools Serviced: We pick up students in our passenger vans at the following schools:
- Burbank
- Carpenter
- Dixie Canyon
- Kester
- Riverside
- Other Schools
Our staff picks up students in passenger vans from the schools we service. Once students arrive at our campus we provide snack, help with homework, provide supplemental academic activities, play organized sports/games, swim (depends on weather), and do cooking, science, and Arts & Crafts projects.

Our Single-Day Camp offers the perfect solution for kids when school is out! Each day is packed with excitement and adventure, featuring activities that kids absolutely love.
Campers will stay active and engaged with these exciting activities, making the most of their day off school. It’s the perfect opportunity for children to explore new interests, make friends, and enjoy a day full of fun physical challenges.
Whether it’s flipping in gymnastics or climbing to new heights, our Single-Day Camp offers a day full of adventure and growth, all while providing parents with a safe, enriching place for their kids to spend their day off.

Gobble Gobble! It’s Thanksgiving week and the kids are out of school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. What’s a parent to do? Join us here at Monarch for our Thanksgiving Camp! 3 days of Autumn fun from 7:30in the morning until as late as 5:30! Monday our Older Campers (2nd grade +) go on a field trip while the Kinders and 1st Graders stay behind for on campus activities (Gymnastics, rockwall, crafts, etc). Tuesday the groups switch with Little ones going on the trip and older campers staying behind. Wednesday we will be have a fun time on campus and serve Pizza! All groups are age separated (sometimes 2 grades together) and gender mixed.

We have many Winter Camp options. Each camp option is operated at the same facility with campers in different groups doing different activities throughout the day.
Classic Day Camp: is the perfect way to keep kids engaged, active, and having fun throughout the holiday season! While we don’t swim during Winter Camp, we offer a variety of exciting activities designed to spark creativity, challenge campers, and create lasting memories.
Campers will enjoy a variety of sports, including basketball, tennis, soccer, and archery. These activities are not only fun but also help kids develop teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship while staying active during the colder months.
In addition to sports, we offer hands-on special projects that engage campers in creative, educational activities. From winter-themed crafts and arts projects to exciting science experiments, kids will have the opportunity to explore new interests and develop new skills.
We also continue our rich camp traditions through singing, dancing, dress-up days, and themed special event days. These fun activities bring campers together, helping to foster a strong sense of community and making Winter Camp an unforgettable experience.
Whether it’s sports, creative projects, or fun traditions, Winter Camp is packed with exciting ways for kids to learn, grow, and make lasting memories during the holiday season!
