All Sports Camp is for children who loves playing a variety of sports. Similar in structure to Classic Day Camps, but with an extra sports block in lieu of arts and crafts and swim games/ competitions instead of swim lessons. If you are looking for classic day camp experience, but do NOT want to go on the eXcursions Camp Trips.
Campers will explore different aspects of nature and science each day, guided by a theme, enhanced by our Wednesday field trips. Most days campers take small hikes around campus and maintain long term projects while exploring new themed activities each day. Field Trips on Tuesday, June 19 and July 24.
Is your camper part fish? Then they’ll love spending the entire day in the incredible LAVC Aquatics Center as a member of Aquatics Camp. Instruction will cover a number of aquatic areas including competitive swimming techniques, snorkeling, springboard diving, lifesaving techniques, water polo, water safety, etc.
Boys and girls are welcome to join our baseball coaches as they teach players how to take their game from tee-ball to coach pitch to the minors to the majors. From basic hitting, fielding and coordination drills to learning the correct way to chew sunflower seeds, Monarch Baseball Camp is a homerun.
Boys and girls are welcome to join LAVC Men’s Assistant Coach, Val Khamenia, as he teaches players of all levels how to take their skills to the next level. From basic fundamentals to advanced game strategies, Monarch Basketball Camp features everything necessary for a player to improve in both the mental and physical aspects of the game. Learn the fundamentals of offense and defense on the court.
Learn the world’s most popular sport under the instruction of local high school coaches. Led by NSCAA approved Mayra Luis-Juan, campers of all levels will cover the basic fundamentals and advanced concepts necessary for success as both an individual player and as a teammate through drills, games and scrimmages.
Are your kids having a blast at camp? Keep the fun going by having your child sleep over at Los Angeles Valley College. Parents get the benefit of a Friday night out, while campers have a fun night at our camp sleepover. Campers bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and overnight supplies. We supply the games, s’mores, and your favorite counselors for a night that will surely be one of the best of the summer— includes an evening swim, movie, and special themed activities. Breakfast will be served.
